Wecome to the information page for...
WRITING FOR ANIMATION,
COMICS AND GAMES
If you have found your way here, it is hopefully because you have purchased the book. This site is specifically a courtesy for the readers of the book. Due to the length of the book, we were unable to include all of the sample material that was originally intended. That sample material is found here.
Out of courtesy to and respect for the author, please do not post this ULR anywhere else to any other website, webpage, forum, email list or in print. Please do not share this material as downloads anywhere else. This material is not public domain. Please respect that it is copyrighted material, not to be sold or distributed without permission. Thank you for your understanding.
There are links below for the samples of animation, comics and game materials. They are all in Microsoft Word format. If you have a problem with reading or downloading a file, you may notify me at:
And no, you may not send me your written material, pitches or ideas. For legal reasons, any such email will have to be deleted unread. I don't have the time to respond to requests for help on how to write or how to break in (that's what the book is for) or asking me to read something. Sorry, I just don't. However, I will happily accept comments on whether or not the book fulfilled your needs or suggestions for what a future edition of the book should contain that this edition did not. Thank you.
I would like to add a special note of appreciation to Skip Press and Stan Wakefield, who were instrumental in helping make this book a reality. Skip is a writing guru. Be sure to check out his website.
